Earn point by inviting your friends to the VFX Horde Community. Every time you send out an invitation you will receive points and you will receive bonus points when those people you invited create an account in the VFX Horde Community. You can use our email form or use your email just make sure you include your personal link so we know how your friends found the site.

How it works

• Invite 10 people at a time
• 20 invites per day
• Use your own email/link or our email form

Points You Earn

• 8 pts for every invite you send.
• 135 pts for every successful invite.

Crew Tips

• It is best if you personalize your invitations with a message.
• If you send your invites from the VFX Horde form, your friends will receive those invites via the VFX Horde email address. You have a better chance getting through to your friends if you send invites through your own email address with your link.

As a Crew member you are given an affiliate account query (something you put at the end of a URL) that you can share on social media or through email. When someone uses your personalized link to enroll in a VFX Horde training, you will be awarded VFX Horde points.

How it works

Your query looks something like this: ?atid=1
You can add this to the end of any URL that points to the VFX Horde to make it your personalized link.

Example

If you wanted to share the "Cemetery Sequence for 3D Digital Matte Painting" you would share this link (adding your query at the end of the URL).

Points You Earn

• 80% of the total price of the training that was purchased.
  Example: $1075 purchase = 860 pts.

Crew Tip

• You will receive a commission on any sale made after someone uses your personalized URL while they are still visiting the site. So it is a good idea to use your URL on every link you share.

Anytime Campaigns are useful VFX Horde resources that you can share on social media anytime such as VFX Horde blog articles or instructional YouTube videos. You can see a list of these links on the Campaign Chooser. Links will include any instructions, what social media platforms to post on and how many points you will earn.

After posting on the social media platform, take a screen grab, the link to your post and enter that by clicking on "Make Submission" for that link. After your submission is reviewed, you will be awarded your points.

• It is best if you share these links every couple of days to every week rather than all at once.
• Make sure you are using your personalized link (the one with the query at the end of the URL). That way if someone makes a purchase while on the site, you will get the commission.

Event Campaigns are the "get the word out" efforts around a specific event such as a course launch or webinar. The links in the Campaign Chooser will have a date that these links will need to be shared. Links will include any instructions, what social media platforms to post on and how many points you will earn.
